I like hearing the stories of my patients’ lives. It’s a gift and a privilege to know someone feels safe enough to let themselves be understood by me. Yes, this job is heavy, but the honor for me to provide the broken a space where they can look at their pieces in a vulnerable way is really amazing.

I have been at Bowen for three years and I work with children. Why I really enjoy my job is not just working with these kids to gain understanding about who they are, but working alongside their parents to help them gain understanding of who their children are. I also support the parents so they can build the lives of their children for a more secure attachment and future. Bowen Center provides the tools I need to go out and help these families build stronger relationships.

The thing I love most about my job is the ability to meet patients where they are. I love that I'm able to go to their worlds and help them learn the skills to thrive, and help them practice those skills in real-life situations.

What I love about this job is seeing how we are helping people learn new skills and reinforce good habits they already have. That’s when you know they have invested and taken ownership of treatment. This is why I do my job and have been in this field for over 30 years.
